A growing number of exhibitors and international buyers for the Spanish fair dedicated to clothing
MOMAD Metrópolis – International Textile and Accessories Show, the first one dedicated exclusively to the world of clothing and accessories, closed its doors with a positive result on 7 February.
Over the three days, 14,038 visitors took part in the event, a significant increase especially from foreign countries, whose participation grew by 10.7%.
Exhibitors (more than 800 brands presented) were satisfied and appreciated the visit of nearly 1,500 foreign buyers coming mainly from Portugal (55%), Italy (9%), France (6.1%), and Greece (3.2%).
There was also a significant presence of leading representatives from large Latino and North American chains.
The surface of 15 thousand m2 (18% more than in February 2015) also made room for the increasingly more important area dedicated to sustainability. An area of education and training on the theme that is becoming more and more important within the event, since it is a fundamental aspect of the industry’s development today and in the future.
The next dates to keep in mind are 9 – 11 September 2016.
