theoneThe show will see the presence of 27 leather goods companies together with the collections of 7 fur and outerwear companies sponsored by AIP and TheOne Milano (specifically, Basetti, Heresis, Nello Santi, Nima, Nipal, Olivieri and Rossi Futuring). “We are enthusiastic about this great opportunity for two main reasons: first, we are proud to be able to offer a selection of our companies the opportunity to present previews of their new collection in an important market such as Korea. Korean buyers are showing a strong interest in our segment, as unequivocally shown by the 22% increase in attendance during the last TheOne Milano,” commented Elena Salvaneschi, CEO of TheOne Milano. “We should not forget that, thanks to these initiatives, the Italian Fashion System continues to travel down a shared, productive and effective path, in which we strongly believe.”
The event, which started in October 2016, and takes place twice a year, is organised by Assopellettieri and Mipel with the contribution of ICE and MISE. The Capsule Collection project will also fly to Seoul. This collaboration between leather goods companies and designers was presented at the last Mipel with these combinations: Arcadia with Irma Cipolletta, Athison with Bav Tailor, Claudia Firenze with Annalisa Caricato, Ripani with Laurafed and Valentino Orlandi with Andrea Ciccolo.theonemilano
