Z Zegna’s new seasonal collection is called “E-City”. It is the perfect blend of activewear, performance tailoring and smart clothing. The collection of the brand from Trivello (BI) is inspired by urban cycling, and features modular constructions defined by large yet sleek shapes. The protagonist is the raw material: extremely warm shearling, gabardine fused with iconic 3-Layers waterproof fabric, but the main innovation is the wearable technology of the Icon Warmer heating device and the new Power+ jacket with built-in wireless power bank pocket. The iridescent materials and integrated connectivity underscore the evolution of the trans-seasonal wardrobe. Another highlight of the collection are the new silhouettes and shades of the TechmerinoTM Wash&Go line, which combines – as usual – comfort and performance. The colours range from khakis to metallic greys, and greens with flashes of orange, petrol green and dazzling white, underlining the multi-texture style of the collection. Tweeds have the task of redefining the silhouette of the technical garments. The collection also includes deconstructed cargo pants with reflective elements and sweaters to be worn under jackets or over crumpled trousers with a sleek fit and activewear-inspired details. An unmistakably modern style, made unique by the brand’s iconic details.
