The first edition of TheOneMilano has endedOver 11'000 professional buyers of which 63% are foreign.
With 11,154 visitors from 82 countries, in four days TheOneMilano, the new Fashion Show has really hit the jackpot. The 286 brand, presented by 244 companies of which nearly 50% are foreign, have exhibited the best of their production by focusing not only on quality, creativity linked to skilled craftsmanship and technical innovation of the products.
Exhibitions are a strategic tool that is a must when you want to meet existing loyal customers and attract new buyers; the exhibition business is indispensable especially for small producers in search of visibility and solid partners, but it is also useful to the already established brands to create brand awareness and discover new growth opportunities.
And this happy union of the two events, between Mipap and Mifur, has recorded excellent results.
We worked to give birth to the salon that was not there and that is a reality today – says Norberto Albertalli, president of TheOneMiilano – and I’m not at all surprised about its success. With over 11 thousand visitors including 7,027 foreigners we assert ourselves as international industry benchmark.
These numbers were the result of a long process; important is the product that plays a front-line role in the exhibition: we had collections that have differ for integrity, quality and for being truly positioned in the market.
There are no magic formulas – continues Albertalli – always to be successful you have to have an adequate supply to demand and thus propose collections that create true sales volume. For September in fact we are already working on a different format which the details will be revealed soon
In terms of visitors, in the ranking of foreign reference countries Extra-European states maintain their top positions led by Russia (1,362), followed by China (921), South Korea (447) and Ukraine (376). On the European front, Greece leads the standings (355), followed by Spain (282) and Germany (279).
An international success thanks to the collaboration with ICE-ITA which supported the incoming program of foreign buyers from strategic markets for the companies present at the fair.
TheOneMilano gives appointment to the next edition which will take place from 22nd to 25th September 2017 during Milan Fashion Week.
