Her passion for accessories began in Paris, where she spent her last year of college. Here, Charlotte Beecham became fascinated by the nonchalant style of women walking against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower, a style where a single accessory becomes the starting point on which to build the entire outfit. So, after graduating from New York University in 2011, Charlotte focused on one accessory – the scarf – presenting herself as a designer and creating her own Charlotte Simone brand. The whimsical and eclectic Popsicle Scarf was born, which has become her iconic and signature piece. Technicolour fur is the absolute protagonist of this scarf, the common thread of an entire series of accessories that includes jackets, baseball caps adorned with pompoms and, more recently, also shoes, made in collaboration with Superga and presented at London Fashion Week AW17. Of course, the sneakers are in true Charlotte Simone style, personalised by soft and furry strings, interchangeable and in different colours. A world in soft fur that never forgets the ethical aspect, with ethically sourced and origin assured raw materials.
