”For us, fur is a fashion item like all the others, we are talking about furs that we encounter at the fashion shows of Milan and Paris and in showrooms that do research; these are the only places where a store like ours buys from. When we choose a fur garment for our windows, we look for a very strong style, a garment that adds glamour to the collections in the store: whether shearling or more typical fur garments, depending on what the designers propose, their contemporary content and ability to dress today’s woman must captivate us. They must be feminine, coloured, and must know how to be ironic with a touch of glamour. Quality is also very important with respect to a larger investment on our part, and we are very loyal buyers when a brand wins us over!”

The French-Turkish name comes from their grandmother, a fascinating lady who in the early 1900s used to design elegant evening gowns for ‘les gens nobles’ of Istanbul.
This is the creative legacy of Antonella and Paola Rigante who in December 1998, in the heart of one of the most beautiful districts of Milan, gave life to the Mariza Tassy boutique, today a hot spot for refined shopping with an international feel, a Concept Store that selects and discovers emerging brands from around the world and cool sophisticated talents flanked by the Mariza Tassy private label designed by Antonella.
