Henry Sun stands down as Chairman of HKFF and is succeeded by Wilson ChiuHong Kong Fur Federation: a change in the top management, Mr. Henry Sun steps down in favour of Mr. Wilson Chiu.
After two years at the head of the Hong Kong Fur Federation (HKFF), this past April 1, Mr. Henry Sun stepped down as Chairman and was succeeded by Mr. Wilson Chiu in this role. Already an Honorary Chairman to the HKFF Board, Mr. Wilson Chiu will be supported by Ms. Rose Ko and Mr. Dennis Fong as Vice-Chairmen.
During the term of office of Mr. Henry Sun, the HKFF strived to strengthen the image of the brand“Fur by Hong Kong” and reinforce the role of Hong Kong as the leading worldwide fur manufacturer and exporter. Mr. Henry Sun, who will remain as Honorary Chairman to the HKFF Board, accordingly leaves Mr. Wilson Chiu with a Federation that is stronger and ready to tackle new challenges.
At the same time as Mr. Wilson Chiu’s nomination, also the new Board of Directors is elected, including Ms. Joanne Chan,
Mr. Timothy W. Everest, Mr. Cyril Fong, Mr. Robert Lam, Mr. William Lam, Mr. Eric Lau, Mr. Johnny Lau, Mr. Victor M. Leenders, Mr. Simon Li, Mr. Sidney Lo, Mr. See Yee Shun, Mr. Andy Wong and Mr. Thomas Wong. Instead, in the role of Honorary Chairmen, next to Mr. Henry Sun, also Mr. Wallace Wong and Mr. Wong Yau Fai are nominated: with the support of the members and Board of Directors, the HKFF will continue along its path of growth.
The newly elected president, Mr. Chiu, has declared his intention of maintaining the unity and objectives of the Federation, using its far-reaching promotional events and activities – like Fur by Hong Kong – to reinforce its presence in both new and existing markets.
