The starting point is a boundless love for drawing. The highly recognizable style of Elvira ’t Hart seems to directly draw the items on the body of the wearer. Inspired by the graphic novel “Sin City” by Frank Miller, the Dutch designer creates clothes in soft nappa leather that, thanks to skillful laser work, perfectly emulate the fragility and aesthetic impact of the lines sketched in pencil. Expression of a tactile aesthetic and cutting-edge vision, the designer’s vision is recognizable in the finished product. The pieces carry the signs of the pen by outlining lines, empty spaces and sharp cuts.

Elvira ‘t Hart graduated from the Rietvield Academy of Amsterdam after studying fashion in Antwerp. Her valuable collaboration with the fashion and cool hunting blog Design Catwalk led to the brand’s participation in several editions of the White Show in Milan. The brand was also chosen by Lady Gaga in a TV appearance and last year the iconic “Drawn Jacket” had the honour of being presented at the #Techstyle exhibition held at the Museum of Fine Arts of Boston.
