Boho-ChicThe Spanish brand is mainly inspired by a hippie, rebellious mood without prejudices, which also characterises the new FW18-19 collection, a mix of ethnic inspirations from different countries around the world, full of brand-new overlays, geometries and patterns that are perfect for winter

The new collection is full of surprises, an explosion of creativity where nothing is left to chance and priority is given to even the smallest details. Coats, ponchos, jackets, trousers and dresses are made by hand, enriched with characteristic details such as lace, embroidery, fringes, inlays, mirrored details, sequins, laser cuts and, above all, folk motifs. The coats are made with fox, coyote and goat fur, as well as leather, which is always present in the designer’s collection. Other special materials are raffia, wool and Indian silk with crystal inlays in both neutral and vibrant colours, as well as white, black and the inevitable denim. The combination of patterns, prints, and different fabrics – even with a patchwork effect – combined to prized materials in a folk, country mix and contemporary elements steal the heart. The collection is dedicated to a romantic and extremely sophisticated woman who loves a soft silhouette and is not afraid to take risks with volumes, who prefers a nostalgic and decidedly 70's mood, with elongated lines, typical of the bohemian style reinterpreted in a more luxurious key. This new collection is sort of a ‘capsule’ – especially the jackets and coats – and will be commercially available all year round, giving the brand a global presence beyond the seasons. Born and raised in Cantabria, Odette Álvarez started designing clothes as a young girl for family and friends, but the success of her models convinced her to launch her own brand nationally, and this year she released her seventh collection. All the garments are handmade, which makes each piece unique and distinctive. Currently, the Tetè by Odette clothes can be purchased in Spain, Portugal and Mexico and on their online store.
